Overview:

The Thermosiphon / Heat Pipe Passive Solar Water Heater is a complete passive solar water heating system that is easy to install, efficient, and affordable. It includes the tank, evacuated tube collectors, and bracket. The units are SRCC certified which makes it eligible for the federal tax credit as well as local incentives for solar water heaters. It is the only solar water heater of its type that has the SRCC certification.

One important thing that distinguishes these units from its competitors is the 316L stainless steel tank, which is much more expensive to produce, much more corrosion resistant than 304 stainless steel, and will last much longer. We want the system to last for a long time because we know that the majority of the overall cost of the system is the installation cost. In addition to the stainless steel inner and outer tank, we have a highly corrosion resistant aluminum and stainless steel bracket. The system is heated by 15 evacuated tube, nickel-plated copper heat pipe collectors and can be installed as a pre-heater to your existing system or a stand alone heater with the built in 240V – 2400W heating element and controller accessory. The units carry a standard 10 year warranty on the collectors and 1 year warranty on all other components of the system.
